“Let Us Never Forget “

The Scholarship fund was founded in 2006 to commemorate the date SSGT Matt Maupin went missing in Iraq.  The Maupin Family and the Yellow Ribbon Support Center hosted the ” April 9th, Let Us Never Forget Scholarship Dinner” as a way to ensure the Fallen Heroes from the Cincinnati Area would not be forgotten.  The scholarships are given in the name of the Fallen Hero to a high school or college chosen by the family of the Fallen Hero.  The scholarships are awarded by the family or school.  In 2008 the “Let Us Never Forget” expanded our offering to include a Fallen Hero from each state in addition to the local Fallen Heroes.
Since 2006 the Let Us Never Forget Scholarship Fund has awarded thousands of dollars in hundreds of scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the name of our fallen heroes from Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom
