The Kelsey Charity Run, Inc., Somerville, NJ, (a 501(c)(3) charitable organization) was organized to raise funds to help pay the extraordinary medical expenses not covered by health insurance for children and their families fighting cancer and other life threatening diseases.
?The Kelsey Fund was originally organized by the Lincoln Hose Company No. 4, of the Somerville Fire Department in May 1995. Retired Bridgewater Police Chief Richard Voorhees and friends organized the “Ride for Kelsey” as a fund raiser for the Kelsey Fund.
