Children’s Museum of New Hampshire

Founded in 1983 in Portsmouth, the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire relocated to Dover in 2008. It offers a blend of art, science and cultural experiences for families. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to offering access to all children and families by minimizing barriers that prevent fair and meaningful educational and cultural opportunities. Since its inception, the Museum has served over 2 million people from New Hampshire and beyond.

The Children’s Museum is New Hampshire’s most visited educational and cultural institution. In our three years in Dover, the Museum has reached over 280,000 students and families from 110 New Hampshire towns and cities, communities throughout New England, and visitors from all over the world. 50% of our visitors came in free or with reduced admission, and 24% are from underserved audiences.

The Museum received a Citizen’s Bank Champion in Action award for leadership in programming for children in challenging circumstances, the Governor’s Award for Cultural Access Leadership, and has received the Association of Children’s Museums’ Promising Practice Award for programs focused on disadvantages youth and youth with disabilities.

“The car raffle began in 2012 and has become an annual event our supporters look forward to,” said Jane Bard, President of the Children’s Museum of NH in Dover. “As a non-profit organization, we need to be creative in raising funds for our educational programs and exhibits, as well as for our commitment to providing museum visits for schools and families in challenging circumstances. By changing things up to give the winner three prize options this year, we hope to sell every ticket to earn the income we need for this fiscal year.”

Raffle Prize - Choose a 2015 Harley Davidson, 2014 Nissan Quest or $20,000 Cash

The grand prize winner of the Joyride Car Raffle will have the choice of
a 2014 Nissan Quest S minivan,
a 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle,
or $20,000 cash.
The second prize winner will be awarded a 2014 Honda Ruckus scooter.

The 2014 Nissan Quest S minivan being offered as a grand prize option has an MSRP value of $26,220. It’s a great family vehicle with seating for 7, fold-down second and third-row seats for flexibility, and average gas mileage of 19 in the city and 25 on the highway. The 2015 Harley Davidson Street Glide is another grand prize option, with a high output twin cam engine, hydraulic clutch actuation and reflex-linked brakes with ABS. This motorcycle has an MSRP value of $23,000. The grand prize winner also has an option of choosing a $20,000 cash prize. A second prize winner will be drawn and that person wins a 2014 Honda Ruckus scooter.
