Citizens of Perrysburg Saftey Education

The organization was set up to teach safety programs to children and community members.  Since theorganization was founded two years ago we have increased our programs very rapidly and will continue to do so as long as we can. Last year we taught classes to over 2000 students and this year we will teach even more. Our instructor is Jeff Graham and he spent 10 years teaching safety programs for the Perrysburg Police Division and 3 years with Citizens of Perrysburg Safety Education. Jeff is a skilled instructor who loves teaching and helping the community. The programs that Jeff will be teaching this year are:

Halloween Safety (1st grade) – Teaches the children about the safety needs during Halloween.

Seatbelf Safety (3rd grade) – Teaches the children the importance of properly wearing seatbelts .

Hooked on Fishing Not on Drugs (4th grade) – Basic introduction to drug awareness.

C.O.P.S. (5th grade) – Core year drug education program to be pilotted at St. Rose.

C.O.P.S. (6th grade) – Follow-up year to core program and transition year program for junior high.

C.O.P.S. (7th grade) – One day question and answer visitation program in health classes.

C.O.P.S. (8th grade) – High School transition preparation classes held in gym classes.

Additional Safety Classes – Numerous classes done during the year in different grades. Topics include stranger danger, 911, bullying, home alone, and whatever else is requested.

Winner of the raffle gets these models to choose: 2009 CBR 600 RR, Yamaha YZF R6, 2009 Suzuki GSXR 600, and 2009 Kawasaki ZX 6R. Winner also chooses color!
