We are the Lakes Area Chapter of American Legion Riders. Our charter chapter started on November 1st, 2009 in Spencer, Iowa. From our initial 6 members, we have grown to almost 40 members. Our mission is to promote and assist veterans programs, childrens programs, and to honor the flag of the United States Of America. We are also accepting business sponsers through this site. Your $50 donation will assist us in our goals. Programs we have supported this year are Toys for Tots, Socks and underwear for less fortunate kids, Holiday meals for disabled veterans, Freedom Quilt donations, Flag etiquette classes and flag donations at local grade schools, veterans day activities, and many parades and speaking engagements. For God and Country.
