Helping Hooters is raffling off this amazing Custom Motorcycle! On October 14-16, 2011, thousands of women and men will unite and walk 60 miles through Philadelphia, PA. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure is a weekend of hope, the participants honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer research and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it.

One person is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes in the United States that is one in eight women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. That’s why Heather Oxenford, Shari Bowen, Jaimee Juhasz, Laura Wasylak, and Amber Haring of Boyertown, PA are walking the Susan G Koman 3 Day for the Cure. To do something bold about breast cancer. – “Because everyone deserves a lifetime.”

Their team – Helping Hooters, has been affected by this horrid disease individually in severally ways, this past year, a common factor was when a dear friend who at the age of 29 was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. This is when the team said “We all need to get involved at some level—any level—right now!” The team – Helping Hooters feels they owe it to the women who raised their families through generations, to themselves and their children and feel that more than any other generation; “WE” are the ones in the best position to turn this dark scenario around.

With the generosity of Cale and Lisa Mutter of Mutters Cycle Supply – MCS Customs whom very graciously offered to build a custom motorcycle, to raffle off as a fund-raising opportunity for this team and their efforts, Helping Hooters is hoping for a sell-out, with only 2000 tickets offered for sale.
